Aviation Educators to Participate in Conference on a Cruise to Bermuda at King Schools’ Envision Flight 2026

Aviation education seminars are just a bit more enthusiastic when you are in the middle of the ocean.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE SUN ‘N FUN Lakeland, FL April 16, 2026

Instead of another rushed agenda in a forgettable convention hall, aviation educators will have the chance to learn, connect, and recharge at sea. From October 24–29, 2026, King Schools will welcome aviation educators, flight school leaders, and CFIs onboard Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas for Envision Flight 2026, a one-of-a-kind symposium that blends serious professional development, meaningful networking, and the fun of a Bermuda cruise.

Building on the momentum of past Envision Flight events—including the 2025 symposium that brought together 170 aviation professionals—this fourth annual gathering continues King Schools’ mission of making aviation education more engaging and more fun. Attendees will sail from Cape Liberty, New Jersey to Bermuda while taking part in conversations and presentations designed to inform, inspire, and energize.

Envision Flight is not just another conference. It is a warm, welcoming aviation community experience where learning continues beyond the meeting room—over meals, on deck, and in the kind of relaxed setting where real relationships and fresh ideas take off.

“Aviation educators do not need another routine conference in a hotel,” said Brian Hough, SVP of Business Development for King Schools. “They want practical ideas, meaningful conversations, and an event that feels worth the trip. Envision Flight brings all of that together—great learning, great people, and an unforgettable experience at sea.  We have been focused on providing great value. Attendees will not pay any extra for the conference and all the educational and networking events.  Just book your cabin on the ship which starts at about $ $945.”

Attendees can expect a return of many popular elements from previous years, including:

  • Presentations and insights from legendary aviation educators John and Martha King
  • Expert-led sessions on key industry topics such as training trends, student success, and the evolving aviation landscape
  • Interactive events designed to foster connection, collaboration, and engagement
  • Unique networking opportunities with peers, sponsors, and industry leaders in a relaxed setting

In addition to the educational programming, expanded sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities are available for aviation businesses looking to connect directly with a highly engaged audience.

Barry Knuttila, CEO of King Schools, emphasized the unique value of the event: “The Symposium at Sea creates an environment where meaningful conversations happen naturally. Attendees build real relationships while learning, sharing ideas, and enjoying an unforgettable travel experience.”

Martha will be reprising her role as “Judge Judy”. You do not want to be that person who has to walk the plank.

Martha King shared her perspective on the event: “John and I look forward to this event every year. It’s a wonderful opportunity to spend time with passionate aviation educators, share what we’ve learned, and gain insights from a wide range of professionals. We’re not only learning, we’re building lasting friendships. We work hard to ensure our presentations are relevant, practical, and valuable for everyone who attends.”

The Envision Flight Symposium at Sea is designed for a wide range of aviation participants—from university program leaders and flight school owners to instructors and pilots—anyone passionate about the future of aviation education.
