Question: I was curious, how up to date the Commercial pilot information is on King Schools site? | May 25, 2016
We do our best to keep up with the new FAA style questions and if by any chance you see different questions there, please send the information to us so we can add to our course. You can also test your Commercial Pilot Knowledge on our exam site.
So the course is all updated. You should expect to see newer questions, since they are coming up with new questions more often nowadays.
Yes. KFW 201 is the online version.
Question: Is there a course I can use for my BFR that can be downloaded to my iPad? | November 11, 2015
The product code is: KFW 201 – Flight Review Courses (BFR) Bundle.
Yes. It’s called our Flight Review Bundle…Here’s the link: http://www.kingschools.com/aviation-courses/keep-or-get-current
Well, no we don’t issue drone certificates, per se. We don’t actually have any drone related courses either. Best bet would to look deeper into what UAS Operations you’re trying to get into and see what they require from you as a pilot. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help 🙂
Question: How can I become a UAS Drone Pilot? | November 11, 2015
The FAA requires you to have a Certificate of Authorization. These all vary depending on the type of operations you’d be doing, what location, and the company doing these operations. But initially, they usually require first and foremost a Sport or Private Pilot certificate. It’s hard to pin point exactly what you’d need, which is why the FAA link is a pretty good area to start http://www.faa.gov/uas
Hello there! Do you just want to fly drones for fun or commercially fly drones?
For the work involved and what your end goals may be, the Private Pilot is often the most efficient option for students. -You’re welcome! And HAPPY LEARNING and FLYING!
